In January 2010, University plans to offer 3 programs at the Master's level.  To learn more about programs and curricula, please visit specific sub-sections of the website. The information below pertains to all Glamshier Master's programs.

  1. All Master's programs will be offered in the Online format (i.e. via Internet).

  2. Students should expect significant self-study and frequent input to online class discussions. Good time-management skills are essential for successful completion of Master's programs.

  3. All programs will take 1 year or 3 academic semesters to complete.  Tentative schedule for an academic year is provided below.

Tentative Academic Calendar

Semester I:

Mid-January - End of March

Spring Recess:

April

Semester II:

May - Mid-July

Summer Recess:

Mid-July - End of August

Semester III:

September  - Mid-November

Winter Recess:

Mid-November - Mid-January

  1. Each program will consist of nine 4-credit courses and a 6-credit thesis(42 credits are required for graduation). In a typical semester, students will be enrolled in 3 courses.

  2. In addition to the course requirement, students will be asked to submit a thesis at the end of the academic year (November). All Master's degrees will be awarded only upon successful completion of the course requirements and the thesis requirement.

  3. Thesis should be an original research work or an academic paper. Once enrolled, students will receive additional information from their program director.

  4. All programs will be structured in such a way, that students should be able to hold a full-time job and study at the same time.

  5. Although the University does plan to offer part-time programs, students will be able, with a permission from the Dean, to request a 3-month extension in order to complete their degree.
